Exclamation Standard keybinding: Select nearest enemy

So we used to have a standard keybinding for Select Nearest Enemy. We still do according to the Keybindings Options menu. But it seems to now attempt to cycle nearest enemies. Unfortunately, if there is only one mob about it will simply deselect and you must use to mouse (or select something else) to select that mob. I think this needs to be addressed very quickly, please!

Yes please fix the cycle nearest corps, select nearest enemy and select nearest resource, it's quiet annoying.

There is good chance that /sne /cnc and /snr can be recovered as per information in Post #10 of this thread:

    http://community.istaria.com/forum/s...ngage-Setscale

    It worked for me.

If you were using setscale before the patch, then this is likely what the issue is. An outdated commands_player.def file in the resources_override/resources folder. This outdated file is overriding the correct/updated one and wont have commands such as /snr included. The same thing happened to me, but works now. See the post that Knossos posted below. If you dont use setscale nor have a copy of commands_player.def in your resources_override/resources folder, then this wouldn't be the issue.

the problem, cegaiel is that /snr works like bugged /sne -- cycles nearest thing, and diselects if only one is around.

If it isn't too far off topic, I would like to request /selectnearest be reverted to it's previous behavior. That has been my favorite go to macro since game launch. (Yes I have been here that long.) The beauty of that macro was it would pick up whatever was closest be it a sneaky quest npc you were trying to find or the monster you don't see yet on your screen that was about to pounce on you. And it stayed with the closest target, it didn't cycle all over the place like drunken sailor.

The current behavior of /selectnearest appears to be just targeting other players. I have been on Blight and Order and I don't hang out at New Tris. As a general rule there isn't another player in range for me to even want such a macro.

Please, please can we have our select commands back the way they were?

I hope that your needs might be met some way within the new system and not at the expense of reverting to the old system.
