Preparing Skill

Don't know if this is already known, but the skill preparing is not giving confectioner xp. Got the message that the skill preparing is not a primary skill of my profession (confectioner).
Server is Blight.
Not a biggie in my case as I'm just making the ingredients for the wolf pet.

Yes that is know, its 8 points per level for Confectioner and 10 points per level Gatherer. So you get XP on Gatherer but not on Confectioner. I think its because Confectioner gets 10 per level on Brewing, Cooking and Earthencraft, so Perparing is not a primary skill for Confectioner.

It does seem to me confectioner should get preparing xp, while joined in confectioner school, too. It appears to be intended, though.

Ok. Thank you for your answers. I have no idea if the mods use to close or lock threads, but if they do you can do it.
