20 sec lag

ever since tue update the update when vaults shrank to normal size, i have had 20 sec normal game play and 20 sec lag continously non stop. 9 days now have not received support from case. nothing new has been down loaded to comp only used for this game, have ran utility programs, spyware and adware, antvirus, reloaded windows! internet speed tests, ip has done all thier tests etc..not useing xp2 either. and even reloaded this game completely.

Could you test if this lag happens with other3d games over internet like counter-strike or quake? Also maybe try pinging game server but I dunno how. Try pinging community.istaria.com itis good enough if you got general connection issues.

:o look for a program called traceroute... or one that does that... What it should do is ask for a location name or address (ip), and then pings it, but shows a table of all the "hops" on the way there... A hop is when the packet crosses one node to another... switching from one network station to the next... Look for high latency on some distant nodes... Or if some are down and the packet reroutes...
