Default When Dragons freeze to death (Winter Event RP)

Pryzm wakes up from her nose tickling. "RAWCHOO!" The first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was a snowflake falling from her nose. Wait... It didn`t melt? Dragons are made of fire. Why didn`t it melt? She startles for a moment watching the snowflake on the bottom of her lair. Another snowflake passes her nose. And why is there even a snowflake inside her lair? Did the wind blow them inside? Pryzm looks up and stares in horror. No it is snowing inside her lair! What magic is this? The waterfalls in her lair are frozen completely. This is almost impossible. It`s magical water filled with primal magic. She looks around. The floor is a bit harder. It feels cold. Even around Pryzms body. A dragon is made of fire. It should be warm. Not snowing! She holds the air for some seconds. Her sleeping chamber lies deep within her lair. If it is already so cold down here... How cold will it be outside? She rushes out of the chamber and comes to a slopping halt on the frozen ground in the hallway. It was covered in ice. And even worse the ice was slowly moving towards her sleeping chamber... it was ice-cold in the hallway and she could see her breath. If this ice would have reached her in her sleep... Pryzm gasps. "The other dragons!" Most of Pryzms neighbours have their sleeping chamber right next to the lair entrance to protect their belongings better. Wich also means this ice must have already reached them. Quickly she digged her claws into the ice to get a better grip and rushed out of her lair.

Sticking her head out of the entrance she got a big surprise. An icy wind combined with snow and ice hits her face and she has to stand against the wind to not be blown away. Pryzm digged her claws deep in the snow to get a grip and worked herself sideward towards Akahraniis lair. The dragoness was living very close to her. The wind was too strong to fly anyway.
Same thing in Akah`s lair. The entrance was completely covered in ice already and the storm was blowing straight inside. Pryzm screamed out for Akahranii... No answer. She rushed around the corner and got a glimpse into her sleeping chamber. Pryzm knew she didn`t have to look further into the chamber. What she could see was Akahranii`s frozen body. The dragoness froze to a statue while sleeping. What a terrible death.
She took some steps back around the corner, the cold air blowing into her back. Involuntarily she started shivering. If it was because of the cold in her back or because of what she just saw she cannot tell. She had to get out of there before the same happened with her.
Normally she was used of the cold. She is used to fly through the tundra in a ice storm. This is Trandalar after all. Ice storms are normal but this... this is dark magic. A storm that causes dragons freeze to death is not normal. The portal! Pryzm turned around and rushed out into the storm. Surprised again by the strong wind she got blown off her feet and rolled through the snow. "I need to get to the portal before it`s covered completly beneath the snow and ice." She pulled herself out of the snow and walked to the portal. For her luck it was still open enough to use it one last time. She reached for it and hoped that the rest of Istaria is alright.

"If being of fire means blind arrogance and the elevation of violence above reason, then let me be of water!"
