Thread: WA Stronghold

    Default WA Stronghold

Where is the WA based? Where is their base? Their Stronghold?

I propose that the WA build a base of some kind in the far eastern blight/ or other unfriendly place. Make it an extremely impossible place to get into. With dozens of AOPs grouped together, Kwellens in bunches, and packs of Wraith Lords. That should keep any brave (suicidal) adventurers at a good distance.

We need an enemy presence in the world. Something that is always there. Someplace dark and ominus. Somewhere where nobody will go because it is certain death. Somewhere you cannot get into no matter how hard you try. Somewhere the really big guys hang out. The guys that cannot be killed by a group of 10, 20 or even 30+ lvl 100 adventurers.

The WA's main bases are not in this reality. While I would like a tangible base to look at, it is not worth the time and effort for something that would be little morethan eyecandy.

The WA Headquarters are in the realm of blight.

But, I agree it would be nice with such a place on the prime.

I do not agree, however, that they should drop "valuable" loot, as one stated earlier. This is not, and will hopefully never be, evercamp.

    It would definately be awesome!

But suppose that we did kill them, suppose that their base were destroyed.

Would this annihilate the WA and rid Istaria of the Blight that has been brought upon us? Or just spark off a greater danger and more intense attack plan by the WA?

Yeah, it would be cool to get a huge group of like 11 guilds together+ some realy high lvl players and siege, is it possible to, like get it somewhere? And then go and attack the WA and rid Istaria of the WA forever, letting us simply letting us fight gelems and monsters, perhaps a new enemie could arrise, one that has headquarters underground even... lol.

The only problem being, if they add a nice monster in the center that has some really nice loot, Dragons would be able to just fly in to slay him/get the nice loot whereas bipeds would have to fight through all the defences.

Maybe the Stronghold could be partially/totally underground where you have to go through a series of tunnels to get to the "main room", maybe the starting of Dungeons to HZ, or atleast the effect of one.

Each tunnel could lead into different rooms, so that the Dragons still have the ability to fly from a battle, but to progress further they still have to land/fly low to get through the tunnels to the next area.

Ofcourse no one is going to want to fight a mob in a tunnel so there would have to be some way around that also, perhaps dragging them out to the entrance, but they stop at the entrance to avoid them being pulled out of the way so players can run through.

Either way, nice idea, the sound of a WA stronghold intrigues me.

Also having mini-strongholds/outposts for the lower lvl player would be nice aswell.
