Edit: Just so you can see the epic derpyness better, I outlined the 3D-structure in the wing so that it's obvious.

Racktor im really impressed with your modding skills i avoid game files like its my life cuz they freak me out hahaha. even though the feathered wings do look sorta odd. its really neat to see! keep up the great work!

The feathered wings don't actually look as bad as I'd imagined. They'd probably look passable if the texture was actually made to conform to the wing shape. As it is now, I'm fairly sure that the feathers are going outside of the area that gets pulled from, cutting it off and making it look bad. It'd take a lot of tweaking and there'd be no fixing the feathers getting stretched and bent in places, but it's not like those wings would be the only awkward-looking thing in this game... xD

I know about the cut-off, Raptress. =P I tried to manipulate the file the best I could to make it do-able but it still got cut off. xD If I was really trying I'd reference Solitaire's post of the dragon hatchling model's wing but I didn't so.. oops. :P
Even with tweaking though, the animation just wouldn't work with the feathers... it's just too awkward. It's like trying to make a jelly bird do the dragon flying animation. Things stretch then snap back.
I could try someday tho.

What file did you replace to make the texture do that?

ummm.... one of the _head textures. (dragon_u_sk##_head00_base)
Also, I do random things when I'm bored.
Really random things.
Such as replace Istaria textures with Minecraft textures.

After finishing my two T6 libraries, I sat down in one of them, looked at the mural and thought.. hey! That's Drulkar!
(Seriously, those little dragons are Drulkar; he's purpley red with the 4 wing fingers, spines, and headshape like that.
Not really a pic of my dragon but still a funny little easter egg I thought I'd share.

Post it! I only took 2 screenies, and this is the only one that I liked....be nice to see a few different angles....
