    Default Changes To Vault

    1) Allow overfilling the vault without preventing you from putting items in, but charge a daily 'over the limit' fee. If you want, you could even scale the fee up as the overage increases.

2)Remove bulk as a vault limitation and change it strictly to an item count limit. Since the database stores each stack item as one entry, allowing us to have a 9999 stack of bricks does not increase the database load.

Either of these options would appeal to many who complain about the tiny vault space.

I like your first idea, but to remove the bulk limitation entirely would remove any need to build silos.

We all know bankers like to make money, it seems that if I wanted more temp storage a daily fee is a great idea.

The first idea is interesting, some sort of overlimit fee. Now it has to be sufficiently high to balance that advantage to crafting. Remember, vault upgrades were costly, 10 silver, 50 silver, 100 silver, ? for 200/20 increments.

Just better to have doubled vault sizes 2000 to 4000 base and 400/40 increments.

Again, though, need to have some aspect of fairness to all players and new players. A lot of us have the silver to afford the first idea from Bittle Pickle, playinga long time, and other means.

Perhaps another solution is to reward the citizens of Istaria for building vaults by adding overall increases for all players to their max vault. To prevent vault farming each vault over the first player or empire vault structure per city/settlement becomes more resource intensive to build (like 2x/4x/8x and so on such that vault farms are still possible but not likely) Maybe this would be a more epic solution to the problem and provide some of that "epic empire building" action we were promised Horizons would be dripping with.
