As part of Tulga Games and Artifact Entertainment's efforts to provide

best possible products and services, we are conducting an online survey

our past and present customers of the online game Horizons: Empire of
Istaria. This survey will give you the opportunity to provide us with

One of the last few questions was sooo hard. it took 5 minutes just to answer it. What would i like to see added. mounts of course, pets yep, sieges please, boats that be kool, pvp be neat but can live without it. having to choose only one was cruel and unual punishment, pretty much all would be neat. though i had to go with sieges. that is still the only thing i absolutely love about DAOC

Otherwise i did the survey and i thank tulga for taking the initiative to make this work. it is good to finally see some interaction again

Too bad they didn't give us all the above option! I had the same problem.

With this community so vocal I am sure they will get lots of feedback!

I am sure they will also be checking out the official forums!

On a closing note - I would like to see something posted on the transition to the new company and what they are planning and what kind of timetable.

I know they don't want to be held accountable for posting timetables but the one thing I have learned in forums is the masses just want honest, timely communication.

I don't think anyone will go nuts if they post they are changing a timetable for something. They change them now and we don't really get any real info until afterwards (or on irc).

From the few people Ihave talked to, perhaps half did not receive it. I'm afraid the percentage of ex-players not receiving it may be higher, due to their not having a reason to keep Hz current on any email address changes.

DEFINATELY. loved that about DAOC, probably the only thing i still like about DAOC. being able to lay siege to a castle, and to lose towns and take towns would be neat. If the AI truely acted on their own then atleast it would be an alternative to PvP. i can handle fighting mobs that act on their own to some extent. maybe have em come up with strategies, attack multiple towns as decoys then as we go to them they send a massive force against a stronghold of ours ahhhh what fun could be had. on that note one other thig id like to see, and would have to be before anything like this is possible is monster COLLISION DETECTION.

Replied to the survey too, even though it looked like intended for US players only - and we know that AE posts goout only to them. Well, now that the URL is here on the boards they'll get a good dose of EU opinions as well. [:)]

I chose sieges as the most important bit. This for several reasons: Firstly, it would mean a full war with the Withered Aegis at last. Secondly, to make sieges work, they would have to build a world model. A working world model would make lots of other things possible besides just sieges (aerial attacks for example).

Pogo, 2 things.

This communities opinion is important, but many here are STILL playing. They want those who quit, and why, so they can win them back, and more. People here may not have the best view of what to add to HZ, since they stayed for certain reasons, the existing content.

Secondly, you should post this on mmorpg, get some REAL feedback there.

Well, doesn't seem they want anyones input but current subscribers to a game. Seeing I'm not one I wasn't able to get past the familiar with/ever played/currently subscribe page because I didn't tick anything in the currently sub'd column... I don't think I should have to lie just to participate. :/

Oh well. /shrug
