I'm not real familiar with how the regal items work. I see rusted spear bits and pieces on those lists... can anyonetell me what that would make? Specifically, what would be the level requirement of the output? What else would be needed to complete the construction?

I'm not Herman, but let me see if I can drag his attention out of Horizons long enough to give me some answers for you. [:)]



Answer to the first question is they make special weapons and jewelry generally known as Regal Weapons and Regal Jewelry. These were brought into game last summer when the WA was robbing dragon graves. That scenario is over and there isn't any more bits & pieces surfacing except for those that have been lost in a corner of various players vaults (Such as Herman's).

Second question; Herman remembers he had to be at least around 50th level in Blacksmithing to be able to recombine the bits & pieces for the weapons.

Third question; Herman says that yes, you needed special formulas. Two for the weapons (one for metal, one for wooden) and one for the jewelry. To get these forms you had to go on special quests that were given out by a dragon during the scenario.
So unless you can find someone that kept a formula, you can't learn the secret way of recombining these bits & pieces.

Thanks, that helped on the lore, but I'm also interested in figuring out exactly what the output would be and what other parts it would require if I were to get someone who already has the formulas to make it. If it's something I could use, I might try to finagle the bits and pieces out of the folks who have them sitting around their vaults collecting dust. :)

At present my time is limited but beginning this weekend I have a months worth of vacation time. Bori has the forms for both the wood and metal Regals and Arirabeth has the Form for the Regal Jewelry, all scribed and we can put any of them together providing both the pieces and the bits are available.

I think perhaps your best bet would to be to add these three guys' names to your friends list so you'll know when they are in game and pick their brains. [:)]
