Well... your first claim is true. [;)] There are ancient dragons on Unity. Eleven of them in fact: five ARoP elders, four RoP elders, Vladmordt (or whatever) at the Floating Isle, and - if still around - the United in Shadow event's ancient.

Also, most of them are in or near Dralk, which speaks volumes of just which dragon city is the more prestigious one. [:P][H]

actually there are only 4 ancient npc's ingame atm.
    Floating Island one
    Shadow Dragon
    Ancient used for helian RoP
and the Dragon King who is mentioned by the council of eldars.
The rest are just larger adult dragons they aren't ancients

I'm pretty sure all the dragons I referred to are supposed to be ancients. I might need to check the RoP NPCs again though, been a loooooong time since I last saw any of them. Good point about the Shadow Dragon and Seliena the Brilliant, both are ancient, if undead. The dragon the councilors speak of, Drulkar, is the dragon god (also referred to as the first dragon, I think).

Valkeroth definatly is ancient, he isnt called Valkeroth the Ancient for nothing :)
Also lore speaks of these rop npc's being ancients that have returned to the empire after a long journey of sorts.
