The current procedure we're using for patches is 2 patches to blight for each patch to live. This allows us to patch things to Blight, test them, patch fixes, test those, and then patch to Live.

So this week is the 2nd patch that will go to Blight.

    Hmm. I don't get it.

So one patch gets tested for 2 weeks, and another get tested for only 1 week?
And me who was greatly expecting the dragon fixes on Blight for this week.

Not exactly. If I understand what is happening correctly, from a software development standpoint,a patch is introduced to Blight. A week later, any bugs with that patch are patched, and then further tested. So essentially, there is a "development" patch to Blight every two weeks, with an "oops we missed something" patch on the off week. Then, the tested and retested patch is applied to the Live shards. This practice should substantially reduce the incidence of bug-fixes breaking other code and partially-fixed bugs that has drawn so much fire.
