is there any way it can be moved to the opening log-in page?

The problem I have with the new patcher still exists, i.e.,
as soon as I select my character, the entire browser locks up,
so I can't even get to the link you've posted for the old
patcher, cuz in order to do so, I have to select a character
first... can the link be moved to the previous log-in screen?

If you just go to the address bar, and change rungame.aspx to rungame2.aspx (keeping all the rest of the address the same), you should be put on the old patcher.

We can't currently put both links on the main page, because of a few technical issues. But that should still get you in for now.

I tried to do the change you said to try and it won't let me. The page locks up before I can make the change in the command line. I don't have any idea what can be don about this new patch but I was having no problems until this was trying to be updated. I like the game as is. I would really like to just play the game. PLEASE make it so I can play.

I do not like having to go and change something on my address bar while in a program.
