Genevia Island Event

We will try to set up some automatic in-game messages (like the ones we send to announce the servers going down for maintenance) to help you better organize this event.

Just let me know the text for the messages and the desired date and time.

Unfortunately due to the approaching Easter Holidays I don't think it will be possible to have someone making manual notifications in game for this event (myself too I'll be away from Milan 25th-28th March included).

I think there's some sort of irony in that. It's a holiday, so there will likely be an above-average number of players around to help. But, it's a holiday, so no-one from GN will be around to take part [:P].

Which is a pity. I'd love to know what "manual modifications" would mean... Things like making sure objects appear correctly when finished, or having some inquisitive WA lieutenant turning up unannounced...

First off: Luca, thanks a LOT for offering to help out this way. Much appreciated!

Second: I'll do a suggestion for what to put in the message (because no-one else has) but please all who see ways to shorten the message or change it for the better, chip in and help out with that: I am well-known for often using more words then neccessary, I know that....[*-)]

Suggestion:

SATURDAY: Big BUILD-UP of GENEVIA-ISLAND: island with all tier-1 resources ánd double-machined workshops (but now all ruined).

Players will try to get all workshops (and maybe with enough help even the bridges?) built on this day.

LOTS ofhelp needed: gathering, mining, making, transporting, applying.

Any time on Saturday (27th march) join playerchannel Genevia (/chatjoin Genevia) to get involved.

Lets make this a wonderful island for all (especially new) citizens of Istaria !

If the message is too long, I guess the last sentence would be the first that could be scrapped.

I would suggest putting up the message one time before saturday (thursday, maybe friday); and twice on saturday, once in the morning around ten, once in the not too late afternoon (around 2, maybe 3 o'clock?) if that is possible.
