Chaos Server-Epic Quest-The Trials of Semfidel

Hello all! This Epic quest which starts on this friday (29th of april 2005)is designed to demostate all of the virtues of our guild members. It is open to all with a few restrictions and is anticipated to be 3-4 weeks in length. It consists of 4 player teams competeing for cash awards for first place. Adventuring and Crafting skills will both be required as well as a test of non traditional skills. The event is time driven based on how quickly a team can complete all of the mini-quests. A team will consist of 4 of the following 6 positions being filled. 1x adult dragon who has NOT started their AROP, 1x Hatchling dragon level 20 or lower, 1x biped who's highest level is level 30 or lower, 2 x biped's whos highest level is between level 31 and level 70, 1x biped who's highest level is 71 or higher. In addition at least 2 team members must be from the Semper Fidelis Guild (lol since I'm coughing up the cash). All levels for cash purposes will be determined at the end of the quest completetion. The Cash payout to first placed winners are level based upon this formula.Highest Advent Level +Highest Crafting Level = Total levels x 5s(sample calc)....level 56 advent/44 crafter : 56+44=100x5s= 500s payout for that team member. Due to problems resolving Team Members being able to fit the criteria for filling the slots I have made some amendments to the slots available. The new slots that can be filled (agin only 4 of the 6 will be filled) are as follows. 1x adult dragon who hasn't started AROP, 1x hatchling who hasn't started ROP, 1x biped who's maximum advent level isabove level 80, 2x biped who's maximum advent level is between levels 40 and 79 (inclusive), and 1x biped who's maximum advent level is 39 or less.

Quest: Strength of Character

One of the hardest things to determine about any individual within a community is how well they will fit in and contribute to the whole. Your first quest is to recruit team members to fill out your roster within the guildlines stated above. You will have a full roster of 6 team members upon completion of this quest, all of which must fit within the guidlines above. Advent Quest: Comraderie

One thing above all ascertains how well a group performs together and that is in the time of peril. Get to know your team mates and determine their strengths and weaknesses within the group. Go hunting together the team must gain 100 total levels within the highest advent classes of the characters played. The total is combined. Optional Advent Subquest for "Comraderie": Information is power

The power of accurate information can be of great benefit within a guild, for to know ones goals and to have all the information allows for planning and preparation. The end result is less wasted time and greater efficiency. On the battlefield it can save lives. Coordinate and plan for your team to reach 75 combined points in "Comraderie" within the next 48 hours (deadline is midnight EST sunday). Congratulations to both teams for completeing Comraderie! Ninja Turtles narrowly edged out Ravishing Ravegers in a stunning come from behind victory. They gained over 50 levels in just a few days by utilizing high level mobs and group tactics. However special mention goes out to Evilena who amassed 52 of theRavishing Ravegers'100 required levels. Way to go Evil! Splendid display of determination :D

Craft Quest: Self Betterment

With the completion of Comraderie your team has now realized the importance of grouping for survival. In addition you now should be realizing just how powerfull an adventurer you can become. However, for every great adventurer there is also a great crafter. Someone must make the armour, jewelry, weapons and spells from which the adventurer is born, and construction will put a roof over your advents head to call home. Your Next trial is to become that crafter. This quest is one of personal strength and perserverence to better yourself and capabilites to become the all around being. Each team must gain 50 total team levelsof construction and crafting utilizing their highest class. Only levels gained in the single highest class count toward the team total. Characters with a level 100 as their highest utilize the second highest class for team point determination. If a character has a second 100 then the 3rd is utilized and so forth. Levels gained in Dragon craft, miner (if the highest), and gatherer (if the highest) count as wild cards and any levels gains shall be awarded automatically to the team total in either craft or construction, or a combination to allow for early completion of the quest. Optional Craft Subquest for "Self Betterment": Nest Egg

Saving for the future is not often easy but can payout large dividends later. Become a miser of resources, store each of the following materials either on a connie or in silos. Each of the following must be storedto complete this subquest.

10k Iron Bars
10k Slate Bricks
10k Elm Boards
4k Pale Orbs
4k Kenaf Spools
10k of any ONE of the following T4 or T5 resourceswithin these categories: Wood Boards,Stone Bricks, Metal Bars,Cloth Spools, or Leather/Hide Strips

Time Limit: Until "Self Betterment" is complete.
