spell boom is bugged :(

I think this is part of a larger issue with spell effects. dozens of various spell effects do not display consistently (shining blades, gifts, surges, earthen crust...)

a fix would be awesome.

I remember Amadan logged in one day on Order, around the time EI was taking over from Tulga.
When told about Boom! not working properly, he mentioned it would be an easy fix because the particle effect hadn't been attached correctly and that the wrong size/scaled firework like effect had been used. (or something like that)
Then he promised it would be the first thing he'd fix if EI gave him a job. Of course no updates happened during EI's time and Boom! remains as bugged as it's always been.

Boom! and many spell effects work properly with the v382 Blight client. However, this one has messed the sunscope effect on self after a teleportation.
