As a new player, I am looking forward to trying this out! I find that many MMOs do not give enough attention to a character's early levels, so it is nice to see these kind of changes. :)

I'd call this change bringing one aspect of HZ up to industry standard. Why ? cause WoW and EQ2 do it very fine. So does COH and yes even now GW.

Its a step in the right direction to giving the new player a positive first impression of the game.

Weird, this was supposed to be a reply to another topic, not a new thread.

I would disagree about EQ2 and CoH, I have played them both and did not find the first few levels very immersive. WoW probably comes closest, both at immersing the player in the story and getting them ready for the "big leagues". Too bad the rest of their game is so screwy. :P
