I'm back! Haven't played much since merger, subscription lapsed and then I found out some old guildmates had left the games they'd left for and come back and recreated the Imperial Crusaders on Chaos. So I resubbed and rejoined my guild and I'm having a blast.
Like others have said, if you haven't played lately you probably don't have a clue what the game is like because it's changed a lot.
Glad to be part of this little stream of people coming back!
