Starting Out!

I just bought this game and I was wondering what a good class or char. build would be for a someone new like me. Any Help would be awesome!

Welcome! Look into this thread over at general section, it should have useful information.

A quick answer is, try everything out! There's almost no limit to the amount of multiclassing you can do, so give lots of differenty things a try, see what suits your personality/playstyle, and have fun with it! Also, make sure to join the New Player channel on whatever server you end up on (Order is the best *cough*) and don't be afraid to ask for help. Most people are friendly and will be glad to show a newbie the ropes. Welcome to Istaria!

I agree, try everything! The great part about it? You can!! Multiclass is great.
Harder for the game to "go stale" if you can change it up and do different things as the mood strikes you.

Oh, and one other thing. If you don't like an adventure class after you've joined, there is a method in game of getting rid of that class so it no longer affects your adventure level.
