New Install

Re-install actually is what I'm planning on doing. Question is: Can I re-install and still keep all my settings? I know when I installed on my laptop I had to set up all my hotkey bars and program settings again. Is there any way to copy them from my current install?

Just did this the other day, runs much better now.

First thing I did was rename my old Horizons folder. Then I uninstalled, reinstalled from disk, logged in and did a full scan (which took about 2 hours), logged back off, then copied the prefs folder from my old Horizons folder to the new one. Everything seems to be running fine and the performance is much better.

All the hotkey and window settings are in the prefs folder.

Thanks! I'm glad I read this and copied prefs folder first though. Horizons uninstaller removes absolutely everything except the Artifact Entertainment folder.

Edit: performance is much improved as well [8-|].

Ah yes, good point! I installed mine at top level under a folder called Horizons. So to modify my first post, rename the Artifact Entertainment folder :-)
