I'd adore dancing!

I'm not sure what would best suit HZ. DaoC had one /dance back when I was playing it, everyone did a brief tap dance with a ta daa! ending. WoW has a different dance for each race and gender within race, though it uses modern dance moves (c'mon, human women do the Macarena), and keeps going until stopped. My brief foray into CoH showed that /dance made you do a random one of four or five dances and keep doing it until stopped.

The brief animation a'la DaoC might be easiest to implement, it's just another emote, no more complex than /find. I don't think HZ could handle progressing dancing (eg when you waltz RL, you move along the dance floor as you spin, so the couple circles the ballroom), it's too hard to make everyone's computer agree on where someone is.

I'd really prefer the dance, whatever it is, NOT be a jarringly modern movement. There are tons of older style dances available: jigs, gavottes, and so forth. Oh -- idea! We have Vielo. They are gypsies. Why not have them teach the world to dance? I already have Lev RP dancing Vielo-style, ie belly dancing *grins* Shake those hips, stamp those feet, snap those fingers over your head.

I'd love a dancing emote. It's the one thing they have in most all the other games I've played and I miss it.

I never saw a wookie dance, I did see a player wearing an imperial stormtrooper armor...
Was hardly forcing my respect for the empire... [;)]

But to get back on topic, I believe dragons could use a lot more emotes and not only dance.
Dragons dont even have the basic hello wave or whatever...
