We get the same official events as the US shards. The latest few events have been about an ongoing offensive around Harro. First we had two new super-mobs to kill for two different quests, Daknor and Fafnir. Then the latest has been to build a new outpost outside Harro, involving both biped and dragon building.
There's some community-organised event building too - for some as yet unfinished world structures, plus the new community lairs.
