Thread: Update on Enervating Morbidae

    Default Update on Enervating Morbidae

    Dear Players,
A recent outbreak of the disease Enervating Morbidae caused concern to many players after the updates yesterday. The disease was not intended to be a global disease. This recent outbreak was not something that we desired; Enervating Morbidae was intended to stay close to the source of the place where players contracted it ? the Tier 6 Withered Aegis forces in the East. Some changes are required to keep this disease from spreading as it is doing now; these changes have been applied and should keep the contagion localized.

More changes to this disease have been applied with the latest update to Blight, and, after testing will be pushed to Chaos and Order.

The first round of changes has already been applied to Chaos and Order, but these shards require a restart for the changes to take effect.

Again, our apologies. Thank you for supporting Horizons.

    Sincerely,

    The Horizons Development Team

Good to hear, so restart on the order in the near future??

Also, having not fought the Tier 6 WA yet, how hard is it to get & spread the disease in the eastern blight?? Is this something players will have non-stop the whole time fighting there??

The note on the log in page explains it all . . . they are the 4 effects of fighting tier VI monsters.

So the real solution is for those players to rest in the field, away from the action, for the effects to fade. Then recall to an appropriate shrine . . . certainly not one in a starter town (just in case they had to recall while affected). If an early recall was necessary (why? I don't know) then immediately isolate yourself from others . . . no, don't rush to the vault, consigner, or pawn broker.

This has valid RP/logic sense as a character certainly does not want to spread a viral-like effect to those unseen in towns and other characters. Soooooo, don't do it anymore.

Having traveled out there w/ a group -

No its not something you have non stop out there. I think there are several monsters that do pass it but not all of em. Watching a group of seven try to spread out 20 meters away from each other is kinda funny too..

be glad to be rid of this in town tho... if i was crafting to my potential it would really have hurt.
