This ever happen to you?

It just happened to me in New Rachival. a level 27 Satyr. sent me an invite. I said, "greetings".

No response so I headed to the portal. the person or bot set me three more invites in quick succession and ran up next to me at the portal.

the person then buffed me with tier 1 buffs. (mind you Im rating 183). I said, "Im not hunting". again, no response.

they appeared to be doing intelligent actions, like looking around. It was Kalo Vexen with Elder Spirits guild on Order. Does this ring a bell with anyone who has had this happen to them?
