For the owners of Horizons

Many players think you are Un able to add New content in the game and that the extent of your Powers are Limited to Just spawning Valcor or other epic mobs (don’t get me wrong that’s fun and all) how ever I would like to know these 3 things

1 Are u guys still alive over where ever u are? No words lead me to wonder what’s going on

If the answer to 1 is yes than hears the 2 Question Are you working on Unity still and is there a Update on that ?


And 3 I am still Hope Full that content can be added to Horizons one of the remaining Few ( note I am willing to Work for u to help u with ideas to improve the game we all love and Help you make your Investment an asset rather than a liability )what is the Extent of your Powers Now that u took Blight off Line



Pleas I know we all want to Pounce the New owners But pleas Do not do it on this Form this is a Few Simple Questions to the owners of Horizons Feel free to Respond with any other Questions But DO NOT Bash OR FLAME the devs !

Lightning Claw, I understand the point of you post as I get where you are coming from but might I suggest that your point might be so more easily understood if you were to type properly and not use so many caps. While I thought what you were saying was important I found it sorta hard to read. Understand though that I am not trying to bash you, merly offering advice.

To the actual topic of the post. I do not think EI is capible of adding new content. This is not a slam of them whatever you might think. It's just that the HZ code resembles something like wet speghetti and even our old devs who new the system had issue with it. The EI people I think have no real understanding on what to do with the code. Which like I said isn't nessisarily their fault as the code itself is pretty messed up.

I understand where you’re coming from and your advice is always welcomed. The cap thing is just my big claw moving to fast on the key board and its hard to cache all the typos sorry will work on this.

Game's over man. Game over. I've been saying since the EI sale this is where we were headed. They. Can't. Develop... They weren't going to develop ever since the beginning. People would have known this long ago if the moderators hadn't deemed a "happy thoughts only" policy. All EI is doing is keeping people paying out of hope... and for now it's still working. Edward C. Andercheck and crew are still milking what's left of the population until it is no longer possible. That's it. That's why they don't talk. When they do, it's usually because I post something like this and they catch it within a few hours.

Unless there's a miracle of a new owner and funding out of nowhere, nothing is going to happen until either 1.) Limelight shuts off the servers or 2.) No one is left.

Sometimes in life, your faviorite neighbor sells her house and moves away, and new neighbors move in. They paint the place candy apple red, pull out the flowers and throw plain gravel over the yard. No matter how much you may hate it and feel that it's vandalism, it's now their property, and you have to live with that somehow. It's not vandalism, it's their right.

A lot of us realize there's going to be no more development here (barring, as you said, a miracle like the one that happened when Chaos got fixed and back online.) Horizons-that-WAS is gone. We can rail and complain but it won't change it.

So, let's not answer for them but leave this to see what they say for themselves. If need be, I can close the thread to facilitate that, but I'd like to leave it open so we can talk reasonably like adults.

But that is the main problem now. They are not speaking for themselves. They have shut us off and dismissed us as if we don't matter. Even now, with as pissed off and distrustful as I am with them, I would open a civil dialoge with them if there was a sincere effort on their part to better relations with their customers. To work with us to improve the situation and possibly get Horizons out of this spiral into death it is in. But this silence, the longer it lasts, just continues to reinforce and strengthen the ill will that we have towards them.

Flat out, I believe they are liars. They are dishonest. They are unqualified and unworthy to run this game. And they seem incapable of changing how they are precieved. So they hide. But that is just my feelings based upon what I've seen from them. Still, there is the small glimmer of hope that remains that they can mend their ways as long as the servers that remain are still open. Is there forgiveness for the sins of the past? I can't honestly answer that. But as long as they remain silent, their damnation in my eyes continues to mount.

For those of you who played on Blight and Unity, please do understand that I do not slight you with the "servers that remain" comment. I strongly support you and the resurrection of your characters & homes. But I think, with the way the situation is now, that the future of the servers that are still operating must be secured before there is the chance that the others can have the opportunity to return.

We may just have to understand that that's how it's going to be now for Horizons-that-IS. I don't know. I'm going to close this thread though, before we get any further away from the original intention.
