*returns with bucket full of headless stalks of wheat, gritty sugar cane, large salt rock, spicy pepper berries, cracked drippy eggs, and chocolate*
*dumps the contents of the bucket out on denrath's gemworking table*
*uses her mithril fitting mallet to pound the ingredients into a lumpy mass*
*digs around denrath's lair until uncovering an ornamental shield, brings that back to the gemworking table, and uses her masonry trowel of mining to scoop the lumpy mass onto the shield*
*loads the shield into denrath's scaleforge*
*cleans the cooking muck off her armor in the flows in denrath's lair*
*wanders into denrath's library and begins perusing the books*
hmm... fanciful flights... weathering storms at high altitudes... scaling up made easy... essence essentials... roast gruok and other feasty beasties... gnomish gnibblings... oh! i wonder what tasty treats dragons would serve gnome guests!
*takes the gnomish gnibblings book down from the shelf and starts reading it, then gets very upset to realize gnomes are meant to BE the meal*
*stows the book in her pack to destroy it later, and puts an instruction manual for making klava on the shelf in its place*
*heads back to the scaleforge, pulls out her steel salvage awl, and uses it to yank the misshapen shield with a blackened mass on it out of the fires*
*plunks it down, grabs her mortar and pestle, and blends together more sugar cane, vanilla, and stonespore fungus caps into a thick paste*
*spreads the paste unevenly over the black mass on the shield*
*sprinkles gummy gruok and elven marzipan bits over top of it for decoration*
*puts an astounding firework on top*
*lights the fuse and hands the shield to denrath*
