To Captain Aaron Legendweaver and Ranger Captain Tauorond,

Recent advancements by the Aegis north of the Spiritis Swamp and east of Harro are far more alarming than previously believed. The Eastern Deadlands Faction(s) have constructed new fortifications just north of the Bloodskulk Tribal Village. Myself, along with a number of other scouts now believe the Bloodskulks and the Aegis have formed an alliance, decidely giving the Aegis control and passage through the Spiritist Swamp. This means that a small or large army of Aegis can now slip through the swamps into the Direwood Forest, or launch assaults against Lerena or Selena with little to no warning. We are requesting trained soldiers to guard the bridges at Lerena and Retha islands with instructions to close the bridge should the Aegis launch an offensive. Selena should also be warned and their milita reinforced if possible.

Second, large siege machinery has been seen inside the new Aegis fortifications. While some of these machines appear to be positioned to hold the gates, many others look as though they are being grouped near the gates. Since we know that moving such siege equipment through the Spiritish Swamps is seemingly impossible due to their weight and the condition of travel in the swamps, it is more likely that these siege engines will be used in a second offensive by the Aegis to the West. We can only surmise that the most likely target is Harro. As you know, Harro is a main corridor for raids and scouting parties into the Eastern Deadlands, giving it vital strategic importance. Given the strength of the Aegis force, we belive that the 'wall' protecting Harro will not last more than a few hours, possibly days with Gifted support. Therefore, we are immediately requesting that both you, Captain Aaron Legendweaver, and you Ranger Captain Tauorond, petition the Imperial Concil for swift construction of a new wall, capable of defending this strategic outpost in the Eastern Deadlands. If possible a small team of rangers and/or archers should be sent from Feladan to guard the rampart of the new wall. Failing to provide such a fundamental defense, will likely result in the fall of Harro to the Aegis in the coming months. The 'second' entrance to Harro should also be prepard against assault, should it be discovered and the Portal taken by the Aegis.

Finally, I want to pass on some words of concern from some of the other scouts in and around the Eastern Deadlands. There are rumours and suspicions that the Aegis will move against Yew Circle and the Abandoned Dwarven Mining Town. If these turn out to be true, the Aegis would have two new fortified positions to coordinate future assaults. This would essentially surrender control of a land mass greater than the Western Desert to the Aegis.

Respectfully,
Durand, Elven Warrior and Scout of the Empire.
