I have been doing the hatchling quests with my new addition Gallinthus.

Now the game has cheated me out of multiple items already.
1. Forms I had already scribed which could have been sold.
2. Much more important the new Imitation Tempered Chest Scale. I finished the quest while wearing the scale from my main Rvlion.

This is quite frustrating. The game/trainers shouldnt look under my skin or in my knowledge book about what I have scribed or what I am wearing.
They should simple give what they are supposed to give!

Sorry if I might sound annoyed, but I am a little.
I dont care about the forms I do care however about special quest scales and other stuff I wont have the chance to get anymore.
And now wont because of this bug.

Can you please help me to get my own scale back?

This is not a bug. If you have the item already on the character, you aren't going to be given it again.

The hatchling quests especially are designed to teach someone how to play the game and give them starting equipment. If you already know how to play, and already have the equipment, then there really is no need to do them beyond getting the extra experience for your character.

I really dont agree in this...
I did the work, sat at the shrine for 5 minutes, crafted a scale, waited another 5 minutes and then nothing.
Sure had I known that the game would cheat me like this yeah I would have removed it.
So in fact you are saying "You shoulnt have been wearing it tough luck"?

I'm sorry, but if you are wearing the item the game is NOT going to give you another. You are simply out of luck. Now, what you can do is create a new character and do the quest again.

But you do point out a bug that we'll take care of... those special scales should be attuned.
