When do people will realize Microsoft .NET ISN'T for everyone?
.NET are for mainframe: Universities, companies, agency.
NOT for mister and madam everybody.
The more dependency you put on a software, the more trouble peoples will have. Ever noticed how Linux isn't popular because it can be a pain to install and update? This is turning into the same thing.
We were told we would get a new launcher. We didn't. We got a new patcher which still uses Internet Explorer as a launching platform. Things change, but stay the same.
So until they devise a stand alone launcher / patcher, I'll still keep my own Java patcher and the .BAT launching trick, until my C++ patcher/launcher is completed. But a single person can't be expected to do a company work. So if anyone want to join and help...
Until then, good luck everyone.
