Default Any tips on Patcher performance?

I'm downloading/installing the trial version now, with installHorizons.exe, but the throughput is much less than I would have expected. Instead of less than 4 hours to downloadalmost 2GBit looks like it's going to beover 30! The download is almost 1/2 complete now -- after 16 hours -- and I did not notice any error messages, crashes or pauses. I have defragmented my HD, shutdown any unnecessary processes, rebooted and restarted at various times (over the last 2 days) but the throughput appears to be about the same.

Anyone have any suggestions for increasing the patcher performance? It does appear to be working but is taking much more time that I would like. [*-)]

    Some system specs:
    Pentium IV @ 3.4GHz
    1GB RAM
    WinXP Pro (SP 2)
Typical download throughput of 150KB/sec (ADSL)

If you have a file-checking program such as virus scanning software running, it will scan every file before downloading. Turning this off for the download can dramatically increase the speed of downloading the thousands of Horizons' files.
